Dylan's first Rockies game

On July 29th we took Dylan to his first baseball game. Our friend Anne joined along for the Thursday afternoon matinee to watch the Rockies take on the Pirates. Of course it was awfully hot and our scalped tickets landed us in left field (for half price).

Ubaldo Jimenez pitched for the Rockies and it was a blow out from the get-go. By the 7th inning (we showed up top of the 3rd and left bottom of the 8th) the wave was in full effect and Anne taught Dylan how to participate in the wave! He thought it was pretty cool.

Toys and a new basketball hoop!

It's definitely been an eventful few months around our house. Dylan continues to grow, is on the verge of running everywhere now after mastering walking and is also developing quite a vocabulary of words and sounds!

4th of July in Wisconsin

During this past 4th of July we spent a week or so in Wisconsin visiting Grandma and Grandpa Lee as well as a good portion of the Lee family.

Crazy driver

Dylan is pretty much pushing everything around these days and doing as much assisted walking as possible. He's getting amazingly good at it as well.

Here is a video from two weeks ago. We'll have to grab a newer one as well. Quite the entertaining little man that just never, ever sits in one place for too long!

First haircut

Dylan got his first haircut on Sunday. His mom and dad had visions of some fun photos to commemorate the event as a kids hair-cutting salon. Well, that didn't quite work out as his mom had to hold him while Dad tried to entertain him.

The only photo we could muster was post-haircut and involved a screaming little man! (see below)


He did cheer up and get back to normal after tasting a lollipop and receiving a complimentary helium balloon from the hair cut place. He loves balloons so this really cheered him up!
