Family visitors and a little party

Over the weekend we had a 1st bday party for Dylan. He got his first taste of sugar (via frosting) and got to eat the tank engine on his train-themed birthday cake. However Dylan probably had the most fun playing with, chasing after and banging on balloons!

Even better was the fact that Dylan had many visitors. His cousins, Charley and Clara, came to visit and drove all the way from Minnesota with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Keighly;Grandma and Grandpa Lee flew in from Wisconsin; the Gerczynski clan came up from Elizabeth (CO); Uncle Gregg from Aurora and a host of other family and friends!

It was a really fun day and we felt so blessed to have so many people come celebrate the occasion!

Happy 1st Birthday Dylan!

On March 29th, Dylan celebrated his first birthday! Since the day fell on a Monday, we had my parents over (who were in town visiting for the week) and did a little cookout along with a cake.

It's hard to believe he's already a year old... man, how time flies! (I know everybody says that but it is so true)
