Happy 1st Birthday Dylan!

On March 29th, Dylan celebrated his first birthday! Since the day fell on a Monday, we had my parents over (who were in town visiting for the week) and did a little cookout along with a cake.

It's hard to believe he's already a year old... man, how time flies! (I know everybody says that but it is so true)

Bigger festivities and more family visiting follows later in the week... more photos of those coming soon!

Sick man but improving spirits!

Dylan has been fighting off a cold the past few weeks and now a spout with a RSV strain. But despite the sickness and general lethargy he has kept some good spirits as the photos below show. He's still a happy kid but the coughing bouts and sickness have made him quite the snuggler lately!

Of course the good news is that he's feeling better every day, just in time for a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Lee this week and a big 1st Birthday on Monday.

More pics coming soon as the big #1 birthday approaches....

St. Patty's Day

Well, we had a very fun weekend. It was filled with excitement and lots of activities.

Tony came in town to visit and meet Dylan.

Ranger helped teach Dylan the finer points of playing fetch.

There were birthday party's galore and Dylan figured out how cool balloons are! He erupted with excitement every time he saw one!

And at the end of the weekend, Dylan and dad took a nap together in mom and dad's bed.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

A warm weekend... is spring here?

Well, it was shorts weather here during this weekend which was a nice change from the winter. Makes us excited to get out on family hikes and walks!

Dylan is making progress on learning sign language and is pretty obsessed with signing "hat". Given that, along with warmer weather and baseball games around the corner we've been working on him wearing a hat. He's still not that sure about it but when he sees his Dad wearing a hat, he seems to think it's a better idea.

Dylan is also about due for his 1st haircut. He has a mop of hair that is in his eyes now which means he'll like get that cut prior to his 1st birthday later this month.

Not much else to report. We have a very busy next five or six weekends with family and friends visiting so we are really looking forward to seeing everyone!

Snow, playing and basketball!

In the winter, there isn't much to do except play, play in the snow, and watch basketball games. Lucky for us, we've done all three recently!

Oh, you can get sick as well... Dylan had a rough day on Sunday and hopes the stomach flu and puking is behind him!
